HIBAPRESS – Fez
The city of Fez is still experiencing a state of popular discontent, at a time when the real roles of political parties, which are supposed to be the voice of the citizen and the defender of their daily concerns, are declining. Instead of focusing on issues of employment, development, cleanliness, health, and education, we find that some parties are still fueling populist discourse and investing in myths and false appearances to attract electoral sympathy.
In the alleys, cafes, and markets, the Fassi citizen asks: "Where are the elected officials and coordinators? Where is the change they promised us?"
The reality shows that the politician Boukhnacha has not yet disappeared, that face that only appears during the election season, carrying resounding slogans and vague promises, then disappearing, leaving behind a city suffering from marginalization and urban suffocation.
The residents today express their growing resentment, not only from the poor services, but from the absence of a serious political vision. Parties have lost their compass, and the street no longer trusts speeches that do not touch reality.
Will Fez remain a hostage to this political absurdity?
And will the Fassi citizen accept that his voice be used again as a means of reaching the seats, without feeling any change in his daily life?
Time has changed… and public awareness has grown, and those who underestimate the minds of the people today will be held accountable by the ballot boxes of tomorrow.
