HIBAPRESS – I.S.
The artist Rashid El Ouali has once again shed light on the issue of taxi drivers and young people seeking their livelihood, in a post that resonated widely on social media, in which he called for fair solutions that preserve the dignity of all.
El Ouali said: “I am the first one to respect taxi owners, people who have worked for years and live from their sweat, and they deserve full respect. It is not reasonable to put them in unfair competition.” He added that the problems of licenses and the organization of new applications need realistic solutions, not just the logic of banning. At the same time, El Ouali focused on the suffering of young Moroccans: “The same driver who has a taxi today has a son who hasn't worked, hasn't found an opportunity. He may wish to have an application that allows him to work on a car, live from his efforts, and not feel humiliated.”He stressed that the law should be on the side of the citizen, not against him, calling for the organization of applications instead of banning them, to ensure rights and protect people without closing the doors of livelihood. He also criticized some officials who resort to banning instead of seeking innovative solutions, stressing that young people today feel that they are absent from the closed opportunities.Rashid El Ouali concluded with a strong humanitarian message: “We must listen to each other, find realistic solutions, and not increase the disparities between people. Doesn't this fall under dignity?”These statements received a wide response, as a balanced voice defending social justice and the dignity of citizens, whether they are taxi drivers or young people seeking an opportunity to work
