HIBAPRESS – I. Asmallali
In a move that highlights the bright face of rural Morocco, the second channel "2M" announced that the seventh edition of the "Telila" award will honor rural women this year, who have been away from the spotlight for many years despite their actual contribution to the social and economic life of the country.
The award, which has become a prominent annual event in the world of national advertising, seeks to honor advertising campaigns that reflect the values of equality and inclusion, while highlighting craftswomen, farmers, entrepreneurs and creators who represent the backbone of Moroccan villages. The general manager of the channel explained that the selection of rural women is a reminder that this group should not remain invisible, stressing that advertising can be more than just a promotional message, but rather a tool for social change and promoting justice and equality. After opening the door for nominations, 13 advertising campaigns were chosen to compete for the award, to be evaluated by a jury that includes prominent names from various fields, including Hind Ben Saria, Fahar Katani, Idir Aknidi, Samira Rafi, Mounia Lemkimmel and Abdellah Tarabi. The award ceremony will be held on October 16 in Casablanca, to be an occasion to honor the most daring and creative campaigns, and to re-recognize the vital role of rural women in Moroccan society.
