HIBAPRESS – Youssef Aqdhad
The Moroccan national team has achieved an unprecedented historical feat after becoming the first team in football history to achieve 16 consecutive victories at the international level, breaking the previous record held by the national teams of Spain and Germany, under the leadership of national coach Walid Regragui, who led the "Atlas Lions" to a golden period of brilliance and technical stability.
This achievement came in the wake of Morocco's victory over the Congo national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, continuing its amazing winning streak without any setbacks, and maintaining its lead in Group E with a distinguished score of points, surpassing the national teams of Niger, Tanzania, and Zambia. This record confirms the strength and continuity of the Moroccan national team in delivering a global performance since the 2022 Qatar World Cup, making it one of the strongest teams on the international scene, and restoring prestige to Moroccan football in Africa and globally. This superiority translates the great work carried out by the technical staff led by Walid Regragui, the great popular support, in addition to the golden generation of players who raised the flag of Morocco high in various competitions.
