Yesterday, Wednesday, at the Seventh Training Center for Recruits in Benslimane, the launch of the training process for the recruits of the 40th military service detachment took place.
The number of recruits at this center reached 1943, including 552 girls, who will benefit, under the supervision of a specialized team of trainers, from an integrated training program that combines theoretical and practical materials, as well as various educational and sports activities. This program aims to strengthen the sense of belonging to the nation among the recruits, develop their skills and physical abilities, and instill in them the values of discipline, responsibility, commitment, and independence. After the flag salute ceremony, Major General Rachid Al-Zammoumi, Head of the Recruitment Office of the High Command of the Royal Armed Forces, confirmed in a speech on the occasion that, in implementation of the high instructions of His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Armed Forces continue to implement the national military service program, in order to preserve its gains, enhance its impact, and consolidate its radiance. He explained that the wide turnout shown by the youth of Morocco in response to the call of the nation prompted the Royal Armed Forces, in coordination with public administrations and competent authorities, to launch the process of selecting and integrating the recruits of the fortieth detachment for military service, a process that has, since the resumption of work with this system, led to very positive results and remarkable achievements. Major General Rachid Al-Zammoumi confirmed that the recruits will benefit from a training program that will be completed in two integrated stages: the first, which lasts four months and is concerned with basic military training, and the second stage will last eight months and is dedicated to the period of vocational qualification in various fields. In this context, he urged the recruits to make continuous efforts and adhere to complete discipline, to follow the path of the previous cohorts. Afterwards, a visit was made to the various facilities of the Seventh Training Center for Recruits in Benslimane, which included accommodation, canteens, the dining hall, training halls, and training spaces. For his part, Second Lieutenant Younes Al-Kartit, an instructor at the Center, confirmed that the Royal Armed Forces have harnessed all human and logistical capabilities to provide a suitable environment for the new recruits, which meets their aspirations and helps them develop their skills. He highlighted, in a statement to the press, that the recruits show a real desire to learn and a great readiness to acquire new skills that qualify them to be active citizens and positive contributors to society. In turn, a number of recruits, in similar statements, expressed their pride in joining the ranks of the fortieth cohort of military service. In this context, recruit Khawla Al-Hak said, "I am proud to wear the military uniform and to experience this unique experience, which I believe will change my life and instill in me the values of discipline, responsibility, and patriotism." For his part, recruit Salah Eddine Ratel said, "I joined the military service voluntarily to benefit from this distinguished experience and achieve my personal and professional goals. I feel great pride in this choice, which opens new horizons for me." It should be noted that, in implementation of the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the process of selecting and integrating the recruits of the 40th military service detachment began on the first of September at the Seventh Training Center for Recruits in Benslimane. This process continued until the end of September, under the supervision of a committee composed of members representing various offices and departments of the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces.
