On the occasion of the school holiday coinciding with the weekend, the National Motorway Company of Morocco announced that the motorway network will experience significant traffic during specific periods. This concerns Friday, October 17, 2025, between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., then Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and finally Sunday, October 26, 2025, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., coinciding with the return of travelers from the holiday.
The company advised motorway users to organize their travels in advance, check the current traffic conditions via the ADMTRAFIC application, in addition to monitoring the weather, especially in case of expected rainfall, strong winds, or fog. The company also called in a statement received by "HIBAPRESS" to the necessity of taking a break after every two hours of driving, and monitoring the condition of the tires to avoid accidents, while emphasizing not using the emergency lane except for extreme necessity. The company alerted to the importance of checking the remaining balance on "Jawal" devices and refilling them before traveling, indicating that this service is also available in the shops of rest areas on the motorway, within the framework of improving the quality of services and ensuring a smoother travel experience. In conclusion of its statement, the National Motorway Company of Morocco wished a happy and safe holiday to all motorway users.
