HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
Despite the richness of the Misur region with its natural resources, human resources, and important geographical location, it still lives on the margins of development, as if time has stopped for it. Between repeated electoral promises and postponed projects, the Misuri citizen remains impatiently waiting for a real renaissance that befits the region's status and history.
Anyone who walks through the streets of Misur touches a bitter reality: outdated infrastructure, the absence of industrial zones capable of creating job opportunities, a weakness in health and educational services, and increasing migration of young people to major cities in search of lost hope. Many ask: Who is responsible for this developmental stagnation? Is it a shortcoming of the local authorities? Or the absence of an integrated development vision from the elected parties? Or is the region a victim of systematic marginalization that made it outside the priorities of public investment? The reality is that Misur needs today an urgent development rescue plan, based on a clear strategic vision, that puts the human being at the heart of attention, and invests in the agricultural, tourism, and natural qualifications of the region. Also, the involvement of civil society and the private sector has become an urgent necessity to launch a new economic and social dynamic. The time has come for the voice of Misur to be heard in decision-making centers, and for slogans to be transformed into actions, because real development is not achieved by words, but by will, field work, and rational planning. Misur does not ask for the impossible, but only its right to developmental fairness, to regain its position as a promising region in the Fez-Meknes region, contributing to the development of the nation instead of remaining off the map.
