"HIBAPRESS" learned from informed sources that the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Court of First Instance of Marrakech decided yesterday, Monday, to prosecute a girl in custody and place her in Al-Odaya prison, while 9 people were prosecuted on bail in exchange for a financial guarantee of 2,000 dirhams each, after they were caught inside a villa prepared for prostitution in the Al-Sharifia area of the Tasoultante community.
The details of the incident date back to last Saturday night, after the elements of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Marrakech monitored suspicious activity inside a villa in the Al-Sharifia area, which necessitated their intervention and raid of the villa, resulting in the arrest of 5 girls and 5 young men from the Moroccan community residing abroad.
The detainees were also taken to the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Bab Doukkala, in order to prepare an arrest report, as well as to deepen the investigation, with them being placed under police custody before being brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office.
