As part of ongoing security efforts to combat crime, the provincial police unit, in coordination with the judicial police elements in Oulad Teima and the national territory surveillance services, on Tuesday, October 28th, dismantled a criminal gang involved in stealing money from inside cars.
According to available data, the gang members, consisting of three people, stole an amount of 60 million centimes from a car in the city of Oulad Teima. Investigations revealed that the perpetrators carried out similar operations in Biougra, Guelmim, and Ait Melloul, where they seized significant amounts of money. The arrest came after the judicial police were able to identify the suspects based on a motorcycle they were using in their criminal movements, which enabled their arrest in record time and put an end to their criminal activity.
