HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
In a moment that will remain etched in the national memory, Moroccans from Tangier to El Guergarat experienced an exceptional night titled pride and belonging, after the issuance of the UN resolution in which the majority of member states in the Security Council adopted the support for the self-governance proposal under Moroccan sovereignty, as the only realistic solution to the fabricated conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
From Casablanca to Berrechid, and from Settat to Agadir, Laayoune, Dakhla, and Smara, Tangier and all cities of Morocco, citizens went out in spontaneous scenes bearing the symbolism of unity and loyalty to the homeland.
Moroccan flags covered the streets and squares, and the chants rose from all directions, repeating in one voice: "The Sahara is Moroccan… and will remain Moroccan forever."
In the Casablanca-Settat region, where life pulsates with a permanent national spirit, large crowds went out into the streets, expressing their joy at this historic diplomatic victory.
The scene of families, children, youth, and women adorned with national colors was more eloquent than any speech. Smiling faces and hearts filled with pride and glory confirm that Moroccans, regardless of their ages and regions, stand in one rank behind the constants of the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory.
This UN resolution was not just a political step, but the culmination of a long path of calm and decisive diplomatic work led by Morocco with confidence and firmness. It is renewed recognition of the justice of its national cause and the credibility of its realistic approach, which puts development and stability at the heart of the solution.
The Moroccan people once again embodied a bright image of sincere patriotism, confirming that the Sahara issue is not just a diplomatic file, but an issue of existence, identity, and territorial unity that is not subject to compromise.
The scenes of joy that swept the Moroccan cities were not only a celebration of a UN resolution, but a renewal of the covenant of loyalty to the homeland, and an exaltation of the voice of truth that repeats that Morocco is in its Sahara, and the Sahara is in its Morocco.
In this awesome national scene, the greatness of a people believing in the justice of their cause is revealed, and committed to the path of peace and development, under one banner and an eternal slogan: God – Homeland – King.
