HIBAPRESS – Youssef Aqdhad praised the leader of the French National Rally party, Marine Le Pen, the decision of the United Nations Security Council, which approved by a large majority the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco as a final solution to the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
Le Pen confirmed, in a tweet she published on her official account on the "X" platform, that the council "recognized by a large majority the autonomy plan that Morocco has defended for many years", considering that the implementation of this solution will be within the framework of the full sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco. The French politician added that the decision represents a remarkable diplomatic victory for the Kingdom of Morocco, directing her congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to Moroccan diplomacy for what she described as the "brilliant success" that embodies Morocco's position on the international arena. This position comes in a rapidly accelerating international context that is witnessing increasing international support for the Moroccan proposal as the only realistic and practical solution to end the fabricated conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, and to consolidate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
