HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Ryanair announced the implementation of a new decision starting November 12, 2025, which stipulates that paper boarding passes will not be accepted at most airports around the world, except in Morocco.
The decision aims to simplify travel procedures and improve the speed of passenger flow through the air outlets, as boarding passes will be issued exclusively via the Ryanair application after completing the check-in process. According to this procedure, passengers will not be allowed to print the boarding pass manually or download it in PDF format at any international airport, which means that travelers will be obliged to use the digital version only on their phones or smart devices. The exception for Morocco is due to the fact that its airports are not equipped with modern digital systems that allow the full implementation of these procedures, which made the company give it a flexible period to apply the change in the future.
