Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmaa, President of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation, arrived in Nairobi on Tuesday afternoon for a two-day working visit, at the invitation of Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya.
Upon her arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmaa was received by Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya. This visit is part of the insightful vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, who places the humanitarian dimension, dignity, and solidarity at the heart of development in Morocco, a country open to the world, which offers humanitarian and sustainable solutions. Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmaa is accompanied on this visit by a delegation of officials from the foundation and representatives of Moroccan institutions. This visit comes to consolidate the radiance of the comprehensive Moroccan model adopted by the Lalla Asmaa Foundation from the Kingdom, where more than 850 children suffering from deafness have benefited from cochlear implants and comprehensive medical and educational care, enabling them to hear, learn, and fully develop. This is a unique model in the world, shared with more than 21 countries across Africa, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and Latin America, which finds inspiration and sustainable cooperation in this Moroccan experience.
