HIBAPRESS
The Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Tangier issued its verdict on Tuesday evening, sentencing a minor to fifteen years in prison for his involvement in a horrific murder that claimed the life of a girl in the city of Ksar El Kebir at the end of last September.
The session was held in secret, given the age of the accused, who was charged with serious charges related to premeditated murder, rape, and indecent assault resulting in the loss of virginity. The crime had shaken the city of Ksar El Kebir at the end of September, after the girl's body was found near the Abi Al-Mahasin Educational Institution, a few hours after her family announced her disappearance under mysterious circumstances. Initial examinations of the body showed clear signs of violence and torture, including a strong blow with a stone to the head, which was the direct cause of death, in addition to strangulation marks around the neck. Medical examinations revealed traces of indecent assault on the victim's body, which confirmed the hypothesis of sexual assault from the beginning of the investigation, and led the security authorities to arrest the accused in a short time after the discovery of the crime.
