As part of the celebrations commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Glorious Green March, Abdelslam El Hattach, the governor of Guercif province, inaugurated on Thursday, November 6th, two proximity football stadiums in the Alal Ben Abdellah "Mosalla" area of Guercif city, a step that reflects the developmental dynamism that the province is witnessing.
This project comes within an ambitious program to build 16 proximity stadiums in various municipalities of the province, with a total financial cost of approximately 20 million dirhams, in partnership between the provincial authorities, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, and the municipality of Guercif, with the aim of strengthening sports infrastructure and expanding the base of practitioners, especially among children and youth. These stadiums are equipped with modern artificial turf, and provide safe spaces for practicing sports and encouraging emerging talents, in harmony with the high directives of King Mohammed VI, aimed at promoting youth and consolidating national values and positive citizenship. The inauguration of these facilities constitutes a new building block in the path of developing sports infrastructure in the city of Guercif, within a comprehensive vision that seeks to improve the quality of life and enhance spatial justice and local development.
