HIBAPRESS
The press conference held by US President Donald Trump yesterday, Thursday, at the White House, was unexpectedly interrupted due to a medical emergency that occurred in the hall.
During the conference, and while David Ricks, the CEO of Eli Lilly, was talking about a deal related to weight loss drugs, a man standing behind Trump fell unconscious, in front of the cameras. Ricks stopped talking immediately after the incident, while a number of those present rushed to help the man, who later turned out to be one of the representatives of the pharmaceutical companies participating in the conference. President Trump seemed worried, as he got up from his place and turned towards the man lying on the ground, before the live broadcast of the conference was temporarily cut off. Journalists who were at the scene reported that the man received first aid inside the hall before being taken to receive the necessary medical care, without further details about his health being revealed.
