HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed
The French capital, Paris, witnessed on Sunday, November 9th, the participation of thousands of Moroccans from around the world in the commemorative march on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Green March, under the slogan "Morocco unites us, and the march brings us together."
In an atmosphere filled with a spirit of pride, unity, and peace, the participants marched from Place Fubien to the Champ de Mars, raising Moroccan flags, and embodying a distinguished image of Moroccans inside and outside the country. The French security forces praised the well-organized and high civic spirit that characterized this event, which passed in an atmosphere of discipline, respect, and responsibility. This large attendance expressed the deep connection of the Moroccan community with its homeland and glorious history. This initiative came from the organization of the Damlij think tank, which confirms through this event that the Green March is not only a historical event but a living heritage that inspires successive generations and embodies the meanings of unity and national cohesion. In a statement, the head and founder of the think tank, Saadallah Adli, said, "This march is above all an act of love and loyalty. It is a tribute to the spirit of His Majesty the late King Hassan II, may God have mercy on him, and an expression of renewing allegiance and loyalty to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, in his march for unity and development. It is also a salute of appreciation and reverence to those who marched in 1975 with faith and peace, and whose courage still illuminates our path today." It is worth mentioning that "Damlij" is a think tank that works with actions, not just words, as it translates ideas into practical initiatives in the service of Morocco and Moroccans. Among its most prominent projects is the "Damlij Sang" application, which is a citizen project aimed at facilitating blood donation and promoting the values of national solidarity, confirming that love of the homeland is not reduced to slogans, but is translated into tangible actions that serve the public interest.
