BM: additional financing (250 million dollars) for the “Performance of the Moroccan public sector” program (ENNAJAA)

The World Bank supports the improvement of public sector performance in Morocco and it is in this perspective that the WB approves the additional financing (of 250 million dollars) for the program “Performance of the Moroccan public sector” (ENNAJAA) will continue to support the efforts of the Moroccan government to improve performance and transparency, by focusing on the modernization of public administration, in particular through digitalization and reforms of public finance management.
“The priority objective of these two projects is to improve the performance of the public sector and the quality of public services provided to Moroccan citizens, in line with Morocco’s New Development Model, emphasizing the need for a paradigm shift to foster inclusive growth and greater private sector participation,” said Jesko Hentschel, Country Director for the Maghreb and Malta at the World Bank.
