HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The interventions of the deputies during the session of the Justice, Legislation and Human Rights and Freedoms Committee in the House of Representatives, this Wednesday morning, focused on various issues related to the development of the judicial system and the protection of public funds, in addition to addressing controversial files within the courts.
During his speech, the Minister Wahbi spoke about the case of an employee in one of the administrations in Oujda, who disappeared for twenty years and was awarded compensation, indicating that the employee submitted medical certificates claiming that she was suffering from cancer, all of which were issued from outside the Kingdom, which he considered a violation of the law. The Minister explained that he had stopped the execution of the ruling and filed a complaint with the judicial authorities in Oujda, stressing that the case had not yet been decided and that the follow-up would go far because she "wanted to defraud the state," as he said.
