During the opening ceremony, the ribbon was cut for the official exhibition of agricultural and local products. The Minister and his accompanying delegation toured the various pavilions to view the quality of the products and the presentation techniques used by exhibitors from Taza province and various regions of the Kingdom.
The organizing body stated that the Almond Festival in Akhennoul has become a prominent annual event for exchanging experiences and expertise among professionals and actors in the almond sector, providing a space to value, display, and market local products. The festival has also enabled a number of cooperatives, associations, and economic units to showcase their products and strengthen their presence in the market.
The festival aims to value the almond tree, which is one of the most important features of the Rif mountain region in the Taza province, in addition to increasing the sector's competitiveness, encouraging activities related to the almond production chain, enhancing local capacities, and providing greater institutional support for this vital sector.
