HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Manfalouti
The commander of the Fifth Urban District in the Hay Al-Khair district of Settat has ended the chaos of occupying the mosque square by owners of animal-drawn carts and car owners who sell vegetables and fruits, where the chaos and siege reach their peak after every Friday prayer, so that even the cars transporting the deceased Muslims find themselves besieged and their passage difficult.
"HIBAPRESS" observed, for almost a week, the square of the mosque free of displays of harassment and shouting, and the foul odors left by the animals from urination and waste in this square, which is supposed to be turned into a prayer area that embraces worshipers with every Friday prayer. The campaign, which was welcomed by the residents of the neighborhood and the mosque-goers, demanded that it be continued and that patrols be established with the authority's agents, and that it not be a passing campaign. It is the wisdom of a man of authority, who decided to put an end to this chaos that was engulfing the Al-Khair Mosque, in anticipation that the same experience would be generalized in the Al-Khair Complex Mosque, and that other leaders in other districts would take the same step and rid their areas of influence of the phenomenon of occupying public property, street vendors, and owners of trucks and cars parked in the streets, especially Abd al-Rahman Iskirij Street. Many of those interacting with this step wondered, saying: "Will this leader be an example for the rest of the men and women of authority in our country in general and in the city of Settat in particular, to follow his example and rid the people and the country of this negative demonstration by all standards, which constitutes one of the manifestations of Bedouinism in the city, as some considered it.
