HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The House of the Artisan announced the extension of the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the promotion and marketing operations for Moroccan handicraft products, within the framework of the ninth edition of the National Handicraft Week, which will be held in conjunction with the African Cup of Nations football tournament (CAN 2025).
The deadline for submitting nominations was set for November 24, 2025, at twelve o'clock noon, before being extended to Monday, December 01, 2025, at twelve o'clock noon, to give a greater opportunity for artisans and professionals wishing to participate. The promotion and marketing events will be held in six cities hosting the African Cup of Nations competitions, namely: Rabat, Tangier, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, and Agadir, during the period from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The institution confirmed that nomination applications are submitted exclusively through the House of the Artisan's electronic platform, at the link: https://mda.gov.ma/fr/demande-de-participation/. It also stressed the need for the attached documents to be in PDF format, while photos are uploaded in JPEG or PNG formats to ensure the acceptance of applications. This extension comes within the framework of the House of the Artisan's efforts to support artisans and professionals and enable them to seize the opportunity to promote Moroccan handicraft products to a wide national and international audience, which enhances the position of the Kingdom's artistic and artisanal heritage and encourages the creation of a new generation of traditional craftsmen.
