HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Menfloti
HIBAPRESS learned from its sources that the Ministry of Interior has allocated financial funding of 11.25 million dirhams to prepare the required studies for road rehabilitation and afforestation over a distance of 15 km, with the rehabilitation and decoration of roundabouts, public lighting, in addition to the rehabilitation of under-equipped neighborhoods.
The head of the Settat municipality, Nadia Fadmi, said in a call to "HIBAPRESS" that the step comes in the context of preparing an integrated development agreement for the municipality within a comprehensive framework with the contribution of a group of partners.
Fadmi added that the municipal council of the city of Settat received the final response from the Ministry of Interior in response to the efforts made to develop the municipality, which aim to modernize the infrastructure for road rehabilitation, afforestation, public lighting, signage, and the rehabilitation of under-equipped neighborhoods.
Nadia Fadmi praised the positive response of the Ministry of Interior and its support for this community project, stressing the pivotal role played by the governor of the province in bringing this ambitious program into existence, especially since the Settat municipality was unable to provide the amount of studies related to this project.
