The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced the opening of electronic registration for pilgrims for the 1448 AH / 2027 pilgrimage season, starting Monday, December 8th, until Friday, December 19th, 2025.
A statement from the Ministry clarified that the Royal Committee for Hajj has decided, for the performance of the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 1448 AH / 2027, to open the door for electronic registration to citizens aged 18 years and over, who have not previously performed the Hajj pilgrimage in the last ten years. The statement added that the electronic registration process is done by accessing the Ministry's website at www.habous.gov.ma according to two lists, explaining that the first list is for those wishing to perform this obligation under the supervision of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, while the second list is for those wishing to perform this obligation under the supervision of tourist travel agencies. Regarding the elderly, the Ministry emphasized the need to register with a family member no older than 50 years old, who has the physical ability to accompany the elderly person in all stages of the Hajj and assist them in performing the rituals.
