HIBAPRESS
The Imilchil district in Midelt province has been experiencing significant snowfall since yesterday, Sunday, which has affected traffic and the lives of residents. The snow has led to the closure of some fragile road routes, increasing the suffering of those living in the area, especially with the harsh cold waves.
This emergency situation has mobilized the local authorities, who have begun taking the necessary measures to secure roads and contribute to easing the difficulties of movement, in addition to closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of citizens. Some rural areas are experiencing a difficult situation, as residents suffer from a lack of firewood for heating, along with the difficulty of accessing roads due to the closures caused by the snow, which complicates the lives of the people and increases the fragility of living conditions, especially for the elderly and families dependent on limited heating resources. Citizens hope that the efforts of the local authorities will continue to secure roads and provide essential materials, in light of these harsh climatic conditions, which may last for several days.
