Akhannouch pointed out, during the tenth stop of the achievements path in the Draa-Tafilalet region, that the most prominent of these achievements is the university hospital in Errachidia, which has been long awaited, and which will be ready by 2027, to constitute a qualitative shift in providing complex medical specializations and serving all the region's provinces. He added that work is progressing at an accelerated pace to complete other regional hospital projects, including the regional hospital of Rissani, scheduled to open in April 2026, in addition to building two new hospitals in Ouarzazate, while the Tinghir hospital has been receiving patients for some time. In the context of strengthening health services close to citizens, Akhannouch stated that the rehabilitation of 83 proximity health centers in the rural area has been completed, out of more than 100 programmed centers, which allows the population to obtain treatment in their villages without the need to travel long distances.
