HIBAPRESS

In accordance with the instructions of the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, joint committees representing the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel and security officials at the regional level have conducted home visits to a group of retired police officers suffering from chronic diseases.

The first phase of these visits included several retirees residing in the cities of Tangier, Tetouan, Fez, Meknes, Oujda, Al Hoceima, Settat, Beni Mellal, Agadir, Laayoune, Errachidia, Nador, Taza, Ouarzazate, El Jadida, and Safi. These visits will soon continue to include other retirees in the rest of the cities nationwide. This humanitarian and solidarity initiative targeted retirees whose health conditions did not allow them to attend the reception and tribute ceremonies organized at the national level. The aim was to visit them at their homes to check on their health and living conditions, and then re-establish the existing bridges of communication with them. These visits also provided an opportunity to listen to the needs of retired police officers and some of their personal requests, which were fully conveyed with the aim of presenting them to the competent authorities within the General Directorate of National Security and the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel and responding to them within the limits of the legal and organizational regulations. The initiative to visit retired National Security personnel falls within the framework of the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance to consolidate the values of solidarity and mutual support among all components of the National Security family, by multiplying initiatives that aim to emphasize feelings of gratitude, affection and continuous appreciation for the members of the security institution throughout their professional careers and during their retirement. This initiative began with the annual excellence ceremony chaired by the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance at the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat on November 18, 2025, which was followed by the tribute ceremonies organized for the benefit of working and retired National Security cadres and their outstanding students at the level of police services at the regional and local levels, before this humanitarian operation continued with home visits to those who were unable to attend to share the tribute ceremonies dedicated to retired policemen and policewomen with the National Security family.
