Younes Skouri, Minister of Economic Integration, Small Business, Employment and Skills, confirmed that the vocational training system in Morocco is witnessing a noticeable expansion, both in terms of the number of trainees and infrastructure, clarifying that the total number of currently registered trainees is approximately 740,000 trainees.
The Minister pointed out, during an intervention in the House of Representatives, that this number reflects the increasing dynamism that the sector is experiencing, as it is a fundamental lever for preparing competencies and aligning skills with the needs of the labor market. Skouri explained that more than 120,000 trainees are studying in vocational training institutions affiliated with the private sector, distributed across a wide network that currently includes 1487 institutes.
