The Moroccan National Committee for the World Youth Festival achieved a new international distinction after winning the Russian national "Patriot" award in the category of the best international project, in an official recognition of the efforts made to enhance youth cooperation and build cultural partnerships between Morocco and Russia.
This crowning was announced on Tuesday during an official ceremony hosted by the National Center in Moscow, in the presence of high-ranking Russian government figures, along with diplomats, international cultural actors and representatives of youth organizations from several countries. The award was received on behalf of the Moroccan Committee by Ms. Darina Vikulina Andreeva, the ambassador of the Committee's project office in Morocco, amid widespread praise from the participants for Morocco's role in supporting cross-border youth initiatives.
