The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Saturday, heavy snowfall above the Atlas Mountains, which exceed 1500 meters in altitude.
Rain or sometimes thundery showers are also expected in the Atlas Mountains, the southeast, the eastern region, the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, and the Tangier region, with other scattered rainfall in the Souss region and the Saharan provinces. Strong winds, sometimes strong to very strong, are also expected in the Mediterranean facade, the Tangier region, the Sais, the Middle Atlas, the eastern region, and the southern provinces. Minimum temperatures will range between 04 and 03 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and between 09 and 16 degrees in the Saharan provinces of the Kingdom, the northwest of the country, and near the coasts, and will be between 03 and 09 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will be high in the northern and central plains, while they will be low in the rest of the other areas.
