The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Sunday, snowfall above the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, which exceed 1700 meters in altitude, and cloudy weather with rain or sometimes thundershowers in the Southeast, the Eastern region, the Tangier region and locally the Mediterranean coast.
It is also expected that the sky will be cloudy with scattered rain drops in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the Sais region, and the coastal areas, while the weather will remain relatively cold to cold over the high altitudes, the Southeast, and the high plateaus, with somewhat strong wind gusts in the Tangier region. Temperatures will range between minus 04 and 02 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and between 08 and 14 degrees in the desert provinces and near the coasts, and will be between 03 and 08 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will be decreasing in the northern regions and in the east of the country and will experience a slight increase in the rest of the regions. The sea will be rough to very rough on the Mediterranean coast, the Strait of Gibraltar and north of Larache, and strong to very strong on the rest of the coasts.
