HIBAPRESS – El Ihyai
The General Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco in "Tarragona" organized a mobile consular service on Saturday, December 13th, which included administrative services for Moroccans in "Zaragoza" and the surrounding areas.
This initiative always comes, as usual, within the framework of supporting and bringing consular services closer to the members of the Moroccan community who are far from the consular center by hundreds of kilometers, thus confirming the proximity policy pursued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs towards its citizens abroad, in accordance with the royal directives aimed at improving consular performance and simplifying administrative procedures related to Moroccans around the world. In the context of openness and in line with this initiative, the government delegate in "Zaragoza", "Noelia Herrero", made a special visit to the mobile consulate in order to closely examine the progress of the process, as she praised during her tour of the offices all the efforts made by the General Consulate in supporting Moroccans, while emphasizing the importance of integration and coexistence between societies, as the Moroccan community enjoys great appreciation and respect for its demonstrated responsibility and commitment to the laws in force in the Kingdom of Spain. With this initiative, the General Consulate in "Tarragona" has marked a long pioneering path since its establishment, as the data related to its external activities show that it has broken the record in the number of mobile consulates within its consular district, which barely finishes one before programming another towards a new region, which has become familiar to Moroccan immigrants within the same consular influence and to civil society associations, who, as usual, take the initiative to interact with such initiatives and work sincerely to make them successful and provide all the appropriate conditions for the administrative staff to work. The Consul General, "Ikram Shahin", is keen on actual presence to ensure that the largest percentage of Moroccans targeted benefit, each according to his administrative purpose, with the allocation of a portion of time to listen to the concerns and problems they face with some Spanish administrations, even if they are of an exceptional nature that cannot be generalized to all institutions.
