The Regional Directorate of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports in Essaouira announced the suspension of studies today, Tuesday, in all educational institutions in the region as a precautionary and exceptional measure due to bad weather.
The Directorate stated, in a statement, that the decision comes in response to the warnings issued by the Meteorological Department, and falls within the framework of the measures taken to ensure the safety of students, educational and administrative staff. The same source explained that this measure was taken in implementation of the recommendations of the regional vigilance cell in full coordination with local authorities and all stakeholders. The Regional Directorate also called on all concerned actors to exercise caution and adhere to the required safety instructions.
