Several territorial communities belonging to the districts of Targuist, Ketama, and Beni Ouriaghel Al Gharbia witnessed significant rainfall and snowfall, which led to temporary disturbances and interruptions in traffic on several road axes, including National Road No. 2 linking Bab Berd and Issagen, National Road No. 8 between Targuist and Beni Bounsar, in addition to Regional Road No. 509 between Ketama and Issagen. These disturbances also included Regional Road No. 413 linking Zerkat and Beni Amart, and Provincial Road No. 5204 at the level of the commune of Chaqran, where field teams affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Equipment intervened to remove the accumulated snow, which enabled the reopening of these roads to traffic and facilitated the movement of citizens and goods. Regarding National Road No. 8, at the level of the municipality of Beni Ahmed Amkazn, which was cut off due to the fall of large stones, the available data indicated that the removal and rehabilitation work is still ongoing by the mechanisms of the Regional Directorate of Equipment, with a view to reopening it as soon as possible.
