On Tuesday, December 17, 2025, Mustapha Ait Haloui, the First President of the Marrakech Court of Appeal, chaired a training session at the court on the legal protection of minors and legal guardianship, with the aim of unifying judicial views on this type of case.
According to data published by the “Voice of Justice” platform, the meeting saw the participation of judges from the judicial district and focused on comparing the national legal framework with relevant international conventions, while emphasizing the best interests of the child. The interveners discussed the practical problems associated with the protection of minors, considering that continuous training improves the quality of judicial jurisprudence in files with a social and humanitarian dimension. According to the same data, this event comes as the last stop in the annual training program for the year 2025, implemented at a rate of 100 percent, under the coordination and follow-up of the Vice-President and the person in charge of training, Mohamed El Amine El Jabri. The session concluded with the attendees commending the initiative and calling for the continued organization of similar scientific meetings to promote a culture of human rights within the judicial system.
