HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed
As part of the comprehensive mobilization to make Morocco's hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations a success, and in a step aimed at involving all parts of the Kingdom in this football celebration, the Moroccan National Tourist Office announced an ambitious plan to create Fan Zones in a number of Moroccan cities, confirming its commitment to making the tournament an exceptional experience that goes beyond the boundaries of official stadiums.
The atmosphere of the tournament will not be limited to the cities hosting the matches only, but the enthusiasm will spread to other cities across the national territory. A group of strategic cities have been chosen to host these celebratory spaces, including the city of Oujda. These areas will offer giant screens, entertainment spaces, and parallel cultural activities for free, allowing citizens and visitors the opportunity to experience the details of the tournament in a family and celebratory atmosphere that reflects Moroccan hospitality, and this initiative comes as a strong and direct support for the great efforts made by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. Through these measures, the Moroccan National Tourist Office seeks to integrate with the technical and organizational vision of the Federation, to ensure popular success that matches the organizational success. This field partnership aims to enhance international outreach: marketing the image of Morocco as a leading tourist and sports destination capable of hosting major events, revitalizing the local economy: by creating commercial and tourism momentum in the cities that will include fan zones, sports diplomacy: consolidating the Kingdom's leadership continentally and internationally.
