Recovery of the body of a Czech athlete on the coast of Tiznit

After 24 hours of searches carried out by the Moroccan coast guard on the beaches of Tiznit, since Thursday, where a tourist, an athlete from the Czech Republic, disappeared, while practicing the sport of paragliding, on the beach of Aglou before drowning.

According to available information, a coast guard helicopter from the Royal Gendarmerie carried out a complete sweep of the Aglou coast to locate the place where the drowned man was, in an operation which ended with the intervention of the rescue teams and the recovery of his body yesterday, Friday March 15.

The victim’s body was deposited at the morgue of the Hassan Premier provincial hospital in Tiznit, pending an autopsy to determine the circumstances of death, in accordance with the instructions of the competent prosecutor’s office.
