Yesterday, Wednesday, a multi-specialty medical caravan was organized by the Regional Delegation of Health and Social Protection in Ouarzazate, for the benefit of the residents of the territorial community of Tadili.
This humanitarian caravan, which was organized in coordination with the local authorities, falls within the framework of the "Care 2025-2026" operation, in implementation of the high royal instructions of King Mohammed VI, aimed at providing the necessary treatments for the residents of the areas affected by the cold wave, as well as in the context of the efforts made to ensure the continuity of health services and bring them closer to the residents of these areas. To this end, the Regional Delegation of Health and Social Protection mobilized significant human, logistical, and material resources to ensure the success of this initiative, which provided medical examinations and consultations in several specializations, including general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and diabetes, obstetrics and gynecology, and dentistry. In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency, the Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Moulay Al-Sahid, stated that this initiative falls within the framework of the "Care" operation, which was launched in response to the severe cold wave and heavy snowfall witnessed by the provinces of the region, especially the mountainous and remote areas. He added that this caravan, which provided more than 3,000 medical consultations, aims to bring health services closer to the population, highlighting that awareness activities were organized for the local population, focusing on disease prevention and the importance of medical follow-up during pregnancy within health care institutions, and childbirth under the supervision of health professionals. This initiative was distinguished by the free distribution of medicines, in addition to the mobilization of human, medical, and logistical resources, in order to ensure the success of the operation and provide health services in optimal conditions.
