HIBAPRESS
The Court of First Instance in the city of Khenifra, on Thursday evening, sentenced the rapper Jawad Asrady, known as "Bous Flo", to three months in prison with a suspended sentence.
The judicial body also decided to fine the concerned person 2,000 dirhams, with the order to seize the computer he uses in his artistic activities. The rapper has been followed in a state of arrest since his arrest on November 20th, following words in a number of his songs, where he was accused of insulting an organized body, and insulting public officials through words and phrases considered offensive to their honor and the respect due to them while performing their duties. The same court had previously decided to grant the accused temporary release in exchange for a financial guarantee set at 100,000 dirhams, but his refusal to pay the bail kept him in detention until the verdict was issued.
