A reminder statement from the Minister of Interior today, Friday, reminded citizens not yet registered in the general electoral lists, who meet the legally required conditions, and who are at least 18 full solar years old or who will reach this age by March 31, 2026, that the legal deadline for submitting registration requests in the aforementioned lists on the occasion of the annual review of these lists will end on December 31, 2025.
The statement also reminded voters who have changed their actual place of residence outside the commune or district in which they are registered that they must submit, within the same deadline, requests to transfer their registration to the list of the commune or district to which they have moved to reside in its territorial jurisdiction. As for voters who have changed their place of residence within the territorial jurisdiction of the same commune or district, they must inform, within the same deadline, the local administrative authority to which their new place of residence belongs, in order to update their addresses included in the electoral list of the relevant commune or district. Registration requests or transfer of registration requests must be submitted directly to the offices of the local administrative authority to which the actual place of residence of each person concerned belongs or via the website (www.listeselectorales.ma). The Minister of Interior also reminds that the toll-free number 2727 is available to every voter who wishes to personally verify, by text message, their data included in the general electoral list in which they are registered.
