HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
As part of implementing national and continental sports laws, and strengthening the security and discipline system within sports facilities, it has been decided to install a temporary judicial center at the Grand Stadium of Agadir, which will be concerned with the immediate ruling on cases related to non-compliance with the laws governing sports events.
This measure, which is in line with the measures adopted in the rest of the stadiums hosting the African Cup of Nations matches in Morocco, aims to maintain public security and ensure the normal running of matches in a responsible sporting atmosphere. This center will specialize in considering various violations, foremost among them manifestations of chaos and riots, attempts to enter the stadium without a ticket, and other violations punishable by law. The judicial center consists of a judge of rulings and a representative of the Public Prosecution, which allows for taking the necessary judicial decisions on the spot, with the required speed and effectiveness, within the framework of respecting the legal procedures in place. The concerned authorities called on the public of the city of Agadir and its surrounding areas to be responsible and adhere to the laws and regulations in force, stressing that this step falls within a preventive and deterrent approach aimed at protecting the stadium facility, preserving the safety of the public, and making sports events successful in the best conditions.
