HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
A massive fire broke out on Hassan II Street in the city of Oulad Teima, belonging to the Taroudant region, on Tuesday, December 30th, inside a warehouse dedicated to storing wood, resulting in significant material losses without any human casualties.
According to available data, the nature of the materials stored inside the warehouse contributed to the rapid spread of the flames, which necessitated urgent intervention by various concerned services. Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the Civil Protection moved to the scene of the fire, supported by the security services and local authorities, where the perimeter of the warehouse was cordoned off and the fire was contained to prevent it from spreading to neighboring shops and buildings. The fire fighting teams' intervention continued for hours in order to completely control the fire and secure the place, while the competent authorities began their usual procedures to determine the causes of the fire and investigate the circumstances of the incident.
