The data from the national accounts, published by the High Commission for Planning, showed a set of positive indicators that reflected a relative resilience of the Moroccan economy during the third quarter of 2025, despite a slowdown in the overall growth rate.

Gross domestic product in volume terms recorded a growth of 4%, in a context characterized by a noticeable control of inflation, where the general level of prices fell to 1.7% compared to 3.7% during the same period last year, reflecting an improvement in price stability and enhancing purchasing power.

The positive performance of the primary sector stood out, achieving an increase in its added value by 2.6% after it had recorded a decline during the previous year, driven by the clear improvement in the agricultural sector, whose added value grew to 4.4%, in a remarkable shift compared to the contraction recorded the year before.

Domestic demand also continued to play a pivotal role in supporting economic activity, recording a strong increase of 7.6%, and achieving a positive contribution to growth of 8.3 points, which reflects the vitality of consumption and investment within the national economy.

Total investment formation also recorded a noticeable increase of 15%, contributing to economic growth by 4.6 points, reflecting an advanced investment dynamic and strengthening the growth outlook in the medium term.

Final consumption expenditure of households grew by 3.9%, an indicator of improved consumer demand, while final consumption expenditure of public administrations recorded an increase of 7.4%, contributing to supporting economic activity and strengthening domestic demand.

At the income level, the increase in net income from the rest of the world by 14.5% resulted in supporting total national disposable income, which recorded a growth of 6.2%, which contributed to raising the pace of national savings to stabilize at 29.7% of gross domestic product.

These positive indicators, especially the improvement in investment, the decline in inflation, and the recovery of the agricultural sector, reflect the ability of the Moroccan economy to maintain its basic balances and strengthen the elements of resilience, despite the challenges associated with the external economic conditions.
