On New Year's Eve, and suddenly, a French youth of Moroccan origins in his fifteenth year disappeared while taking a tour inside the gardens of the upscale "Prestigea" residence where his family resides in Marrakech.
Despite the intensive searches conducted by family members, the missing youth was not found, but the family did not lose hope and continued the search, and later the French youth's lifeless body was found inside an unfenced well inside the "Prestigea" residence. Following this, the security authorities and civil protection were notified, and the body was pulled from the bottom of the well and transferred to the morgue to be subjected to a medical autopsy according to the instructions of the Public Prosecution. This tragic incident caused a shock to the victim's family, as the youth's father appeared on a social media site, expressing his condemnation of the "Prestigea" administration's failure to take the necessary precautionary measures regarding the presence of a well inside the residence's garden and not fencing it, in order to protect the lives of the residents.
