The coach of the Nigerian national team bid farewell to the city of Fes with touching messages, expressing his regret at leaving the city that hosted the "Green Eagles" in an atmosphere he described as ideal, both in terms of infrastructure and public reception.
The Nigerian coach, Eric Shell, confirmed in his statements that leaving the Fes stadium came loaded with many emotions, saying that the team wished to continue their journey from there, given the quality of the stadiums and the great comfort that the players felt, in addition to the sincere love that they felt from the city's residents. The speaker explained that the general atmosphere within Fes was a contributing factor to the success of the Nigerian national team, where a positive calm prevailed, away from media pressure and the spotlight, which helped the players maintain their mental and physical focus throughout their stay. The coach pointed out that his players, in turn, expressed their great happiness at being in Fes, both inside and outside the stadium, adding that the team will leave the city carrying beautiful memories and a distinctive human and sporting experience that will remain etched in the minds. This statement reflects a clear praise for the organizational atmosphere and the warm reception that marked the Nigerian national team's stay in the city of Fes, in a picture that enhances the success of organizing the African Cup of Nations in Morocco, and confirms once again the place that Moroccan cities have come to enjoy with the participating teams.
