The Pasha of Daroua announced the opening of the submission of nominations for the presidency of the Daroua Municipal Council, in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law No. 113.14 related to municipalities, especially articles 11, 12, 14, 15, 20 and 21.
The Pasha of Daroua specified the period for submitting nominations at the Pasha's headquarters located in the administrative district, between Friday, January 9, 2026, and Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The announcement clarified that the nomination file must consist of a request addressed to the Pasha of Daroua, a copy of the criminal record, a copy of the national identity card, as well as the party endorsement issued by the Secretary-General of the party, specifying the subject of the endorsement, which is the candidacy for the presidency of the Daroua municipality, in addition to two passport-sized photos. The opening of nominations comes in the context of completing the legal procedure related to the election of a new president for the Daroua Municipal Council, in accordance with the applicable regulatory texts, following the governor's decision issued last Thursday, which considered Kamal Tahraoui, in the judgment of dismissal, given his absence from performing his duties, and the issuance of judicial rulings against him in this regard.
