HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Nigerian journalist Osasu Obayiuwana praised the organization provided by Morocco for the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations, considering that the Kingdom has set a new benchmark in terms of infrastructure and facilities, and that the stadiums hosting the competitions are of a global standard.
Obayiuwana confirmed in a tweet published on his "X" platform account that the standards adopted by Morocco in organizing the tournament should constitute a ceiling that cannot be compromised during the 2027 edition, which will be held in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, stressing that the African continent will not accept a reduction in the quality of stadium pitches. Obayiuwana called on the upcoming organizing countries to benefit from the Moroccan experience in this field, noting the quality of the transportation network within Morocco, especially the network of the National Railways Office, and considering that good connectivity between cities is an essential factor in the success of continental tournaments, and that the absence of an effective transportation infrastructure hinders any real development within the continent. The Nigerian journalist also praised the good reception and hospitality of the Moroccans for the delegations and fans coming from different parts of Africa.
