HIBAPRESS – Sports
The surroundings of the Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat witnessed an intense security alert since the early hours of this morning, coinciding with the final match of the African Cup between the Moroccan national team and its Senegalese counterpart, where the competent authorities mobilized their various formations to ensure the passage of this continental event in tight organizational conditions, with the enhancement of control points and the facilitation of the process of accessing the fans to the stands.
In the same context, a special organizational protocol was adopted, which includes security and logistical aspects, including respect for the paths designated for the fans and official delegations, controlling the inspection process at the entrances of the stadium, in addition to allocating rapid intervention teams in anticipation of any emergency, in complete coordination between the security services, the organizing committee, and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. These stringent measures come within the framework of Morocco's keenness to make this African football celebration a success, and to present an organizational image befitting the size of the match and its continental value, in light of the massive public presence and wide international media, which makes the Rabat final an exceptional sporting occasion that transcends the boundaries of the green rectangle to high-level organizational and protocol dimensions.
