Morocco recorded a new record in frozen strawberry exports to the United States during the year 2025, according to recent data from the "EastFruit" platform, which specializes in agricultural data analysis.
The platform stated that the United States imported approximately 7,900 tons of frozen Moroccan strawberries between January and October 2025, with a value of nearly $19 million, registering a growth of 22 percent compared to the same period last year, and exceeding the record set in 2019 by 15 percent. Morocco is classified among the top five exporters of frozen strawberries globally, while the American market represents the most important destination for these exports, as it acquired 17.3 percent of the total Moroccan exports of this product during the first ten months of 2025. Shipments peak between May and August, with the highest monthly volume recorded in June at 2,500 tons. The source explained that the fluctuation of Mexican exports, the main supplier to the American market, due to climatic factors and food safety concerns, in addition to anti-dumping duties, pushed American importers to diversify supply sources, which allowed Morocco to strengthen its presence and achieve record sales in the frozen strawberry market in the United States.
