Elements of the police belonging to the First Security District in Guercif raided, on Friday morning, a house suspected of being used as a brothel in the Hay Lyrak neighborhood, as part of ongoing security campaigns aimed at combating crime and protecting public order.
According to information obtained by the newspaper, this operation resulted in the arrest of a number of people who were inside the house at the time of the raid, including three girls, who were subjected to judicial investigation procedures under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to determine the circumstances of this case, and to uncover all its potential extensions. The same sources added that the security intervention came based on accurate information received by the competent authorities, indicating the use of the aforementioned house in suspicious activities, which necessitated the immediate move of the police elements to verify the accuracy of the data and take the necessary legal action. It is expected that the detainees will be brought before the judiciary, immediately after the completion of the investigation, in order to arrange legal penalties against anyone proven to be involved, in accordance with the legislation in force. This operation falls within the security efforts aimed at addressing various manifestations of deviance, and enhancing the sense of security among citizens.
